Nashville Visitors Guide A Question For Visitor's To Nashville?

A question for visitor's to Nashville? - nashville visitors guide

I'm from Chicago and a fan of rock is huge, but not a fanatical country. I am looking for a destination to travel to the extent that the airline tickets. I like landscape (nature) and culture (museums, historic sites, etc.) For those who do not live in Nashville, but their vacation there, you think I enjoy it? I know I have not given much information, but this city, especially for country fans?

Nashville is often referred to a Music City, not just for country music. Many rock artist have recorded music here. There are a lot of places to hear some rock music such at The Basement, Mercy Lounge and 12th and Porter. Nashville is chock full of museums and historic sites. It is a fun city to visit.

Blood stains are still on the wooden floor in front of the hall, he served as an operation. Carter House is very tight and interesting. The Hermitage, home of Andrew Jackson is there and the tour includes not only a tour of the house to discover but unlimited access to a museum, housing the slaves, gardens, near Jackson, the burial place of his wife and his family cemetery, dug up every summer on a tour of Tulip Grove, they "adopted" son at home and the church he built for Rachel, his wife. Belle Meade Plantation is beautiful, the city is known as a very upscale Belle Meade Horse racing first American to win the English Derby are high, and other good racehorses. Belmont Mansion is one of the richest women in the United States, which is very rare at this time in possession and it is beautiful. Travellor rest is another historic house, and much more. If you take a short trip to Hendersonville, you can visit Castle Rock to the home of the first stone of the "State" of TN-it wasn't really a state in which this house was built with local stone. The course is very interesting, the guy that runs a good character and history of this family, and his friendship with Andrew Jackson is really something! Nearby is Fort Mansker / train station, where you can see the fort, and then the first brick house in TN, were the best friends of the family with the people in Castle Rock and to each house, if there are attacks against Indians in their areas Houses around 10 miles away.
For museums, we have 3, especially the fine. The deadline has built a museum of fine arts from the original post office in Nashville, impressive architecture and a world-class museum. Tennessee State Museum is large, with a history of the state and strengthened the traditional things .... like a mummy and mammoth bones! Cheekwood, Nashville gardens and the art is absolutely amazing and a must for your visit, you must choose to come! It is located in Belle Meade, and was originally the home of the family, the Folgers coffee has! Lot acres of gardensincredibly beautiful and the house is a museum. It is a mile long, interesting "sculpture" behind the apartments, and a Japanese garden, ponds, bridges, and show their claws growings price. It is amazing, and have a good 1 / 2 day there is a large restaurant where you can picnic.
There is also a small museum, but quite well in our scale replica, the only thing in the world of the Parthenon, which was originally built for the centenary of Nashville. It even has a repplica 40 'height of Athena as the gold back home, all of course, the leaf (or gold, at least!)
So there you have it! Nashville is much more than country music. And believe it or not, we play all types of music in dozens of places, check it out! We also have the Musician's Hall of Fame, a few blocks from the Country Music Hall of Fame. This is not only full of country music! Oh, we also have many incredible restaurants for all tastes and prices. I can not imagine who does not enjoy a trip to Nashvillethe! In fact, was one of the main reasons we moved because of the great benefits I have mentioned, in addition to the opportunity to work in a rural area a few miles from the city to stay. I am from San Francisco and used to close the symphony, live theater, ballet, museums, find, etc., and that all of Nashville, and the beauty of nature and architecture. We love it here! We hope that caome and see for yourself! If I tell you of any further assistance, please contact me by S / A.

Outside .. .. Nashville country may to a certain ... But in reality, a breeding ground for all kinds of music.
For some, the story of fun ... upside down in Franklin. You may experience guided tours through the plantation board, Carter House and much more ... a great history of the Civil War.
Talk to a local, it can go in the direction you should be pointed out .. Tourists do not know anything about this city:)

The 5-Spot in East Nashville your face from 6 nights a week skirt for $ 5. At about the same thing with the Cannery Ballroom, Mercy Lounge, Exit / In and the end. More rock, less stress.
